He came under fire for pardoning the rapist after losing to Democrat Andy Beshear last month and issed 428 controversial pardons before leaving office One of them was 41 y/o Micah Schoettle who raped a 9 y/o girl and was convicted of rape, sodomy and sexual abuse who was sentenced to 23 years in the big house in 2018 but only served 18 months after being pardoned Bevin said in a radio interview claiming there was ZERO EVIDENCE of rape and the girl's "hymen was still in tact" The father of 9 justified his decision and said that the 9 y/o victim's sister was present during the assaults and says that sister denied the accusations He said "These girls both were examined medically.They wer examined physically.
