ye this guy does great reviews

I first noticed him when he reviewed Captain Marvel and was honest that it was an ok movie but overall just a generic superhero movie with nothing really standing out.

Partly because I find him really obnoxious, partly because I don't think he's insightful as a movie reviewer, and partly because I prefer giving views to smaller youtube movie reviewers (who usually have more interesting and diverse perspectives) rather than JJ who pulls hundreds of thousands of views on every video and who I think is often pandering to his audience. JJ embodies my least favorite kind of youtube movie critique....aside from things like mauler I guess.

If you're curious where I usually watch movie reviews on youtube, I generally just google "[movie] review" and click on some of the less viewed ones. But as for channels I regularly watch: Double Toasted is probably my most viewed.
