3. Move

Main part is the new job.

We should not allow the whims of landlords, corporations and foreign billionaires to push people out of their homes. Like holy shit it's not rocket science

Oh they know that...people who use that argument just have no other rebuttal so they keep repeating the same old tired shit that isn't feasible or makes no sense. Sure i could just move Ohio but why should i have to? My cousin had to move from California to Georgia because his dad's company shut down the California location and moved it to China. Since he was a manager there they offered him a position at their Georgia location which he accepted....even with a job lined up for him, ready to go, it still wasn't easy. Now imagine having to start from zero in a place you probably don't want to live. you shouldn't have to sacrifice happiness to be able to live. If you want to move, then cool, take the plunge, but it shouldn't be an answer to the problem of rising costs not staying proportionate with pay.

Mostly it serves as some sort of blow off response sense they have no good answer and they dont want to actually listen to a person complain. Because as we all know, complaining about anything means you hate everything about it

. Its like saying "if you hate your job so much just quit" or " If America is so bad the just go to another country". As if the person complaining is too dumb to consider that OBVIOUS possibility or that there is no other way to handle a problem but to just abandon it and start over.
