Was doing 80 in a 45 but he clocked me in at 62. So I gladly paid the $175 ticket.

6 years ago. In a speed trap, I was going 45 in a 30(I was going down a steep ass hill.) I won the appeal in court.

really? have never appealed though, have heard it is weighted very heavily in favor of the officer giving the ticket though

I live in Mass and 'troopers' generally refers to state police who patrol the highways, and most of those are 55-65mph. State police don't even bat an eye when you're going 80-85 on 95/495/90 etc in this state, but yeah, if you were in a 45 then they'll bag you for sure.

I don't think I've got a speeding ticket in about 7 years or so. But I've had dozens over the years.

It is but when is slightly over the limit plus the officer is known for doing stuff like that, it's easier.

Total speed trap in a hick town in Central Pennsylvania. I was drivng across the country in an area I didn't know at all. Only moving violation in my life. That was 2000.

Never got one for speeding. Got a "fix it" ticket for a blown headlight once. Got the bulb replaced the next day and they dismissed the ticket.

Technically I've never gotten a speeding ticket. I was pulled over once but he knocked it down to failure to obey traffic signs or something along those lines, basically a fine with no points. This was close to two decades ago and it was pretty easy to appeal tickets at that time because cops hated showing up for traffic court and it was essentially an instant win if the cop didn't show.

Ive had four total. The first two were not long after I got my license and the most recent was about three years ago, my only out of state speeding ticket. The officer liked that I was calm and polite, so he lessened the speed I was actually going on the ticket. One of my tickets was caught by a camera.

I've never been given a speeding ticket. I have had a cop on a motorcycle pull up along side of me and wag his finger at me before peeling off and taking a different freeway ramp. I was also pulled over and given a warning one time, and then like a month later they raised the speed limit on that road to what I was driving.

Only ticket I've ever gotten was complete bullcrap. I made a right turn at 8:50 am when the sign said "no right turn 6-9 am" and it was the day after daylight savings time ended.

maybe 10 or so over the years. have only had 1 or 2 in the last 5-10 years, and 0 or 1 in the last 5 years. and that last one was photo radar at night and I was only going like ~67 in a 60 zone and I was decelerating from the limit that had just dropped right there.

9 years ago. Was going 130 k/hr in a 60 zone. Just ripping it in my highly modded 2nd gen Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX.

No tickets since then.

I've only ever got 2 speeding tickets. One in 2016, the other in 2017 (within a few months of each other).

Never got a speeding ticket. Im the one that no one wants to be behind when they are in a hurry because I insist on driving the speed limit. Ive also never been late to anywhere Ive had to be at a certain time.
