I find most of that so bad its funny at least and Id argue the force connection whatever dialogue between Rey and Kylo is about as terrible as all the Anakin/Padme dialogue if not worse

the prequels are so bad they're boring

a meme can make a lot of things seem funny in isolation but man the prequels just aren't funny even ironically

and no nothing is worse than Anakin attempting to compliment Padme by saying she isn't sand

That sand thing was hilarious to me. Its unbelievably bad, but I cant not laugh at Anakin wooing a Queen by comparing her to sand and actually getting the girl. Im not gonna say the PT are great movies or anything because theyre not. They have many many flaws, but they still had things I enjoyed in them that I will gladly take over a movie I basically loathed

I find it more unbelievable the movies have characters believing child murderers are still good people deep down

I'd sooner believe that Vader could come back to the light side than Padme would actually want to be with Anakin

but if you're of that mindset then you should like Last Jedi more because everyone other than Rey treats Kylo Ren as completely irredeemable

I dont buy her wanting to be with him either. To like TLJ I feel like youd have to really like Rey and/or Kylo given the not good stuff it did with Poe and Finn and Id rank Rey and Kylo down there with Jar Jar, Padme and Anakin.

Time and memes has tricked a lot of people into thinking the prequels weren't that bad. Speaking in a non-exaggerated fashion, the Anakin/Padme romance scenes in 2 might be the worst cinema I've ever seen, and the rest of 1 & 2 aren't much better. 3 is entertaining and much better than the others, but still isn't good.

RotS is fun ironically because it has the most memeable moments and its the best prequel, but its still not great. The other prequels are pure trash, though.

That pure trash introduced some of the coolest characters in the entire series at least. Too bad Grievous got done dirty because he was way better in the animated stuff. Hes probably the coolest concept a villain has had in the series.

Grievous in Episode 3 was insanely disappointing.

Yeah. I had watched those 2003? animated shorts combined into a movie before watching Episode III and it was pretty damn great so I was sad to see movie Grievous. It was so good Id probably rank it above all of the live action movies actually. The force powers in it were way cooler than anything the movies ever did with them.

I'll say Revenge of the Sith is the best prequel solely because they don't spend 90% of the movie sitting/standing around talking

as a popcorn flick where you just turn your brain off and enjoy the action it's mostly fine

That said. My more subjective, emotionally-charged taste is different:

ESB > TFA > ROTJ > TLJ >> R1 > ANH >>> ROTS > SOLO > AOTC > TPM.

5 > 6 > 4 > 3 > RO > 7 > 1 > Solo > 2 > 8

Through most of my childhood I had 6 > 5 but I flipped on that in the last five or so years. I probably watched the OT a dozen times before the age of six when the prequels started coming out, so I was the perfect combination of young and into Star Wars to love them regardless which is why 3 still ranks so high for me, although I can't nostalgia my way into even subjectively saying 1 and 2 are good movies. 1 only ranks so high because of the music and Darth Maul at this point.

Rogue One is a fantastic movie, and The Last Jedi is the only Star Wars movie I've only watched once and will never watch again. I would say it was so boring that I almost fell asleep in the theatre but I'd be lying because by the third act I was hate watching it and very much awake.
