I know there is lot of prep and stuff, but man, ugh I don't want this shit. The procedure seems easy compared to the damn prep.

You should probably do a couple practice runs at home to make sure you're ready

It's not that bad. I've done it twice. The hardest part is the not eating. The shitting for 12 hours off and on sucks, but I could deal with that.

I can't eat whatever I want a week ahead, got a list of things I can eat and what I should avoid, I hate that. And the non eating and laxating stuff before gonna suck ass.

You didn't get the giant bottle of stuff, Gavilyte, did you? If you did call your Dr. and ask them to send in something that sucks less, like Suprep, Plenvu, or Moviprep. It will probably cost more through your insurance, but it will be a considerably smaller amount of nasty stuff you have to drink.

I have one every 2ish years and drinking the prep is always the hardest for me. Just make sure you mix everything with a lot of water/sprite and it makes it a bit more bearable. Really just cones down to how well you can chug stuff down.

Popsicles are always my favorite for what to eat, keeps you from feeling sick to your stomach and gets the taste out of your mouth fast.

I will say, the first time I did it I had to mix a whole thing of powered miralax with 64 oz of powerade and drink that. It just tasted like powerade. The next day you had to drink a small bottle of whatever the active ingredient of gavilyte was, it sucked but it was a small bottle.

The second time I had to do gavilyte. It sucked way worse, that shit taste horrible.

Not going to lie...it's a nightmare man. I don't envy you. I'd hate to have to go through that again. Just power through it.

I got something called Laxabon prescribed to me to take day before. Then for 3 days before I need to take Movicol which is over the counter stuff.
