No sitting President will have his party vote against him. The only one that was remotely close was Nixon, and he resigned then had the VP pardon him immediately afterwards.

The head of the trial or whatever is colluding with trumps defense team from what i understand. This whole process is a sham

Then the prosecution would have to take it to the Supreme Court

Nixon had a unanimous decision ruled against him in the Supreme Court that forced him to turn over his tapes to his impeachment proceedings, and he ended up resigning instead.

They typically don't fuck around when it comes to black and white law.

Last I checked Al Gore and Bill Clinton are not the same person.

And Bill had 2 terms like Obama did.

The thing is that Trump can resign if shit gets too hot on him and Pence can negate anything.

It's kind of pointless because the outcome will go in his favor either way. He'll get fully acquitted by his party or pardoned by Pence.

Obviously but the Bush campaign played heavily into the whole impeachment thing to rally the Republican base.

Trump is effectively a king, and he will win 2020 because conservatives are united, liberals are not and never will be and they chose a shit candidate again
