Losing video out is always a downgrade to me. I also never liked the Joycons too much as a controller. They'll do in a pinch but they aren't that precise.

Honestly why not just get the standard Switch since it can go portable whenever you want is how I feel about it

The form factor is great. It's definitely the superior option if you're going to use it exclusively portably.

I would've gotten one if I didn't already have a Switch. Basically only play portable.

Regular Switch fees like a way better buy unless you're only looking for a handheld. I really dislike playing portable versus on an actual screen so the lite was really never for me.
