Worst Dalton: The Living Daylights (but it's not even bad, it's just not as good as LTK!)

Maybe, but I still enjoyed it. It could also be because it came out and I watched it in the cinema at a time when I was old enough to actually understand the story.
Im with you there. I may have seen TWINE in theaters also, but DAD is the one I remember fondly.

Its still probably bottom 5 Bond for me, but its always entertaining to watch.

I'd rather watch the Austin Powers trilogy.

Gotta go with Goldeneye. Might be a little bit biased here, since it was the first Bond movie I ever saw, and also the first FPS I ever played. But I rewatched it a few years ago and it still holds up well. So many memorable action scenes, and Brosnan is excellent as Bond. Gives Judi Dench a great introduction as the new M, and Q's scenes are good. Lots of great quotable lines too. Great supporting characters, like Ourumov and Xenia.

Other top Bond movies for me:

Casino Royale
Skyfall
Dr. No
From Russia With Love
Goldfinger
The Spy Who Loved Me
For Your Eyes Only

Also enjoyed Live and Let Die and both Dalton flicks, despite what others may think of them.

I enjoyed Casino Royale a fuckton. Don't get how people enjoy Skyfall so much.

From Russia with Love is probably my favorite, but Goldfinger is great and has a lot of the popular tropes, so one of those two.

I dunno why Goldeneye is so loved. I assume it was "babby's first bond" for a lot of people and they liked the video game. It's aged pretty badly and was never that good. >_> Brosnan was a good Bond but like all of his movies are bad or maybe mediocre at best.

One reason Goldeneye works so well because it successfully took Bond out of his comfort zone. It questioned his usefulness after the Cold War and made a woman his superior. That he withstood it is a testament

Great stunts/action
Great villains
classic Bond story
Judi Dench and Cold War commentary

It's easy to love. Usually the first outing for a new Bond actor ends up being one of their best.

That's one of the best scenes in the series and in the end it shows that Bond can still work in the 21st century. I just wish EON would realize that instead of making Bond into something else.

You can also tell the M/Bond scenes and their relationship in the Craig series are inspired by scenes like this and others in the Brosnan movies. Although in those it's M who is the dinosaur and relic of the Cold War in those movies.

No coincidence that the same director made Goldeneye and Casino Royale. When they need to shake it up they call him i guess
