George Zimmerman was still a hopped up neighbourhood watch guard who disobeyed a 911 dispatcher and went after someone. He sold the gun he used to shoot that person to death, and now he's suing the family of the teenager he shot for shit like defamation.

Imagine shooting someone's kid, then suing them for making you look bad when you fall on hard times. If we're talking about a situation where he was acting in self defence, it's years after the event and any injuries, hospital visits etc. have been settled. He has no reason to sue Trayvon Martin's family... what, 5-8 years after shooting him to death? He's already sold the gun he used to shoot their son.

If this was an unknown case, some rando prick playing police-cop and gunning down a rando teenager, it would be disgusting enough that he's cultivated enough of a positive reputation to sell a murder weapon as a coveted collectible. It would be downright reprehensible to sue the parents of the person he shot years down the line, long after the dust has settled on the grave he caused. Long after debts were settled, after everyone had their day in court. Why else would you put a family through this horseshit, unless you're just a colossal piece of shit yourself?

Everyone's trying to move on this long after Trayvon Martin died, and this sniveling dickhead comes back into the limelight to squeeze every ounce of money and attention out of his 15 minutes of fame as he can, including dragging the guy's parents back through the courts after killing their son. He's a pathetic murderer who continually pushes the envelope so some conservative dipshits can pay him enough for a couple of meals.

Anyone suing the parents of someone they shot is going to be the bad guy here. The fact that people are trying to spin this in Zimmerman's favor because of the legacy of this case? Fucking gross. He's proven himself to be a colossal piece of shit every time he comes up in the news, but some of y'all defend it because it's funny. Fuck off.

The incident itself is a tragic accident that never should have happened if Zimmerman just listened to the instructions. As it stands Trayvon most likely did have him on the ground and I believe Zimmerman was fighting for his life in his mind.

At the current stage of things, Georgie boy is just doing what any piece of human garbage would do: exploit a terrible situation for his gain

I have him on ignore. Frankly, the empty spaces he leaves when he's spamming topics with double- and triple-posts are more entertaining than the shit he word-vomits anyway. I highly recommend other people do the same, because it's probably the only way to stop him from ruining threads.

Let's not mince words. He didn't "follow" Trayvon, he stalked him. Regardless of who threw the first punch, stalking someone is threatening behavior.

And lo and behold, the stalker killed their victim. It's almost as if you have just cause to fear for your life if someone is hunting you down. Just a shame the legal system largely doesn't care about minorities.

Zimmerman is a piece of shit. Barring better evidence the case went the way it should have.

If some lawyer is out there committing libel he has every right to sue even if we all wish it would never come up again.

Also, fuck Trayvon's parents for settling the wrongful death suit out of court and not letting us be able to hang the fault for it on Zimmerman.

well since we will never actually know we have to look at what we do know.

a hotheaded man who was using obscene language and profiling (these are facts based on the transcript with police) continued to follow someone he was told explicitly not to follow which then led to a confrontation.

So ya, its not a fact Zimmerman started the fight but it is a fact he instigated the situation that led to the fight. These are undisputed facts of the case.

So do we assume he Martin savagely attacked him all of a sudden? Maybe, though its hardcore speculation grounded in nothing but Zimmermans own words, as opposed to assuming Zimmerman started it based off his demeanor and spoken statements on a recorded phone call.

So ya, fuck him and fuck his bitching. Dude should be rotting in prison for disobeying a direct order from authority.

Here's the thing, I don't thing that Zimmerman physically started the fight. I think he did play captain cop and try to hold Trayvon at gunpoint and was definitely more than just verbally aggressive but I still do believe Trayvon started the physical fight which is why Zimmerman unfortunately responded with gunshot
