So his son picked him up and was waiting outside while he got murdered. I know it a movie but even from a story stand point that didn't make much sense for him to go along and say nothing while that happened.

Frank said at the end of the movie that Hoffa's son had no idea that they were going to kill his dad when they were driving to the house. And since he didn't go in, I assume that he never knew for sure that Frank killed him. Plus they also said that everyone involved in it kept quiet for the rest of their lives. I guess they didn't want to get whacked too

Oh ok. Probably didn't pay much attention well enough. That scene and the Joe Gallo scene were the two I looked up since thought they were fake. Even without what I said some people still question what happened. Like apparently they went back to alleged house and the blood didn't match.
