Is it the case they consider Black Friday a holiday or that they observe a four-day weekend for Thanksgiving?

Pervious years when Christmas fell on a Tuesday or Thursday we didnt get monday or friday off. What's also weird is HR release the Holiday schedule and, I cant remember which holiday, but something fell over the weekend and we are getting the friday before it off. So I have no idea man.
