My regular synthetic blend oil change costs anywhere from 55 to 60 bucks and thats a necessary evil, but fuck does it sting, especially when I still need to replace the back tires.
This Midas near me is doing a Black Friday $20 conventional oil change and Im tempted to do it just this once. Comes with a tire rotation too apparently, which would probably be good for these new tires. --- Sometimes I say things and I'm not voice acting. ... Copied to Clipboard!

It depends on the car, but normally no it's not okay. If you're car uses synthetic, I would stick to synthetic.

It depends on the vehicle. A more 'modern' car has tighter tolerances and typically needs the synthetic. A not-so-new one can go back and forth without problem.
What sort of car? EDIT: A synthetic blend for your vehicle? Chances are that you would be fine going for non-synthetic as I do not know of any manufacturer that recommends synthetic blend. --- --- MaverickXeo --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I forgot to mention - I switch oil types, weights and brands all the time. As all modern oils are regulated and follow strict guidelines, it is rare for one brand to be 'better' than another provided they have the same certifications.

Thanks yall
It's a 2009 Hyundai Tucson It doesn't need synthetic, I just use it because it's at around 125K miles and I want it to age gracefully --- Sometimes I say things and I'm not voice acting. ... Copied to Clipboard!
