-Match: Austin v. Bowser
The announce team question how ring ready Austin is, as Ludwig smacks Austin in the head with a sneaky beer throw. Austin's in a pretty foul mood by the time he even gets to the ring, but Bowser is on point today. Bowser hits the RACK ATTACK with a big ol' jump! ....And pulls something in his back! The ref calls for the bell!
Winner by stoppage: Austin

-@Strife2 comes out to the ramp and rolls his eyes at both of them: Austin winning after taking a shellacking and Bowser injuring himself with his own finisher. He declares them both LOSERS!

-Truth is scared of @eaedwards6400 and his purple hair.

-Match: eaed v. Truth
Truth gets the initiative early, but gets thrown off by banter from the Time Cops. Eaed gets a leg up....but while the ref is still talking to the Time Cops, Truth hits Eaed below the belt! Rollup! 1....2....3!

-Eaed is livid at this miscarriage of justice, and rages to the back.

-Match: Rocky v. Ludwig
Ludwig appears to have something to prove tonight after the first couple matches. That's great, but Rocky steals his Koopa Kar on the entry ramp and runs him over with it. The Koopalings assemble at ringside but Rocky chucks Ludwig into them! The match rolls on as both get heated. Rocky eventually lands a series of blows for the win, but Ludwig gave as good as he got!

-Konnan barges onto the stage to complain about his lack of push, but he is cut off by a sudden commercial break.

Fairly even match, with some interference from DJ REVERB. Scare hits The Strangest Thing outta nowhere for the 3!

-Scare grabs a mic....but immediately collapses in a coughing fit! After a few scary moments, he makes it to the back under his own power, but I guess we don't get to hear from him tonight.

-Bryan has a stomachache and a bad feeling.

-Bermuda Triangle Match: MoT Bryan and @Panthera v. YMD (UCA Champ Bang and HC Champ Bison) v. @TheSultanOfSlam and Flair
The former two teams take up most of the match because I have tuned these rules poorly. Bryan starts selling his knee for some reason??? He struggles, but manages to tag in Panth. Damage is done though, and YMD are solidly in control for a while. Bang nearly pins Bryan, but Bryan manages to reach Flair for a weird hot tag to finally bring the other heel team into the ring! Sultan gets a tag after a bit and busts Bang open with a hidden fork. Ref takes a bump trying to investigate the cheating! Sultan is distracted....Big Bang! 1....2....3!
Winners: YMD

-Zangief is backstage. He and Mario won Lethal Lottery together, but at Extreme Rules, it'll be no mercy.....in a SUBMISSION MATCH.

-@davidponte welcomes Rocky back to the ring. Rocky sees Bill Gates in the crowd and asks him what it's like being a rich guy who thinks he's better than everybody. Bill Gates is sorry Rocky thinks that of him....and decides to prove his magnanimity by donating a million dollars to impoverished families right now!

-Scare is angrily filling his Netflix list back out.

-Match: B8WL Champ Mario and @MajinZidane v. Knights Radiant ( @Maniac64 and @Korayashi )
Boko should maybe come up with a name for this team! Anyway the Knights keep doubleteaming Boko. Mario complains to the ref...and Senior Official Sam Calhoun gets tired of it and sends him to the back! Boko will have to do this alone. Kora chucks Boko to the outside and Maniac beats him down...preventing him from making the ten count! What teamwork!

Flair has a very complicated relationship with YMD....but it's gotten him this title shot!

Panth gets a big shot at YMD! Is this the first step in his quest to bring justice to B8WL?

B8WL SUBMISSION: Mario (c) v. Zangief
Mario and Zangief fought their way to a Lethal Lottery win, but did Mario dig his own grave in doing so?

B8WL Presents Extreme Rules

-XIII is hosting the interview segment but he sounded like he was interested in doing it and it doesn't have much effect on anything else this time around and this is a relatively quick turnaround, so I'mma give it a few days and then retcon it in.

-Straight from Extremely Crappy Wrestling, Barry Windham is here! He is here to re-introduce @davidponte , a man who has overcome every obstacle and injury thrown his way! Windham goes way over the top in hyping David, talking about UCA and interview segments and perserverance. David seems to be enjoying it even as the crowd starts to wonder why Windham's buttering him up so much. To commemorate such a special return, Windham has a special friend to referee his return match! Out comes....Ric Flair, the man who injured david in the first place!

-2/3 FALLS MATCH: davidponte v. @Eddv w/Caelus (Guest referee: Ric Flair)
Only slightly put off, David starts us off with a big lariat and knee drop. Eddv stomps on david's foot, and Caelus works in a cheap shot that goes unreprimanded. Series of forearm shots from Eddv. Flair backs up david for a break, and Eddv lands a wicked right hook with a closed fist. David fires back with a discus punch, but misses a followup spear. Eddv does some squats before going for a crossbody...but hits Flair when David slips out of the way! Flair doesn't stay bumped for long, but David gets in a piledriver. Eddv's right back up for more squats, but maybe he should focus on wrestling since David just suplexes him. Eddv takes David down for some ground and pound. Flair's a bit slow to break things up....and David has had enough! He and Flair start brawling around the arena! So, uh, what happens no- @Strife2 blindsides Eddv, and he has a ref in tow!

-2/3 Falls: Eddv w/Caelus v. Strife2 I guess
Strife gets a body scissors hold on Eddv, but Eddv counters into a pin. No real threat of a 3 count, but it breaks the hold. Both are up...Shots Fired from Eddv! 1....2...3! (Eddv 1-0) No time to celebrate, as Strife just levels him with a right hand. Eddv pulls out the old "fake injury cheap shot" shtick. He gets his free shot, but the retaliatory blow puts him on his back. 1....2....2.999. Strife chokes him out for a bit instead, then lifts him up....Black Hole Slam! 1....2...3! (Tied 1-1) Strife continues pounding away! Eddv's in trouble, but Caelus gestures frantically towards the back! Ludwig runs in- Strife quickly dispatches him, but that gave Eddv some crucial breathing room, and he's able to regroup and take over with an irish whip into a clothesline. Strife shrugs it off and piledrives him! Big splash, too! Eddv ain't done yet though, and gets a swig of liquid courage from Caelus. Eddv turns into a massive big boot, spraying his adult beverage in comical fashion! Eddv bounces off the ropes into another big boot! Eddv flails to the outside and tries to regain his bearings with some wobbly squats. Strife climbs onto the apron and takes him out with a diving forearm smash! Rolls him back into the ring....1.....2.....3!
Winner: Strife

-Eddv pounds the mat in frustration!

-Miz wishes Cena luck. @Maniac64 has really gotten a big head lately, so Cena has Miz's support.

-BIG SCREEN CAGE MATCH: John Cena w/ @ScareChan v. King Maniac64
The obscenely expensive ScareTron 3000 is suspended on one side of the ring, just waiting for somebody to go through it and showing old episodes of GLOW until then. We start with some straight brawling, and Maniac actually comes out on top! Maniac stuns Cena with a series of chops....then throws him into the TV! Maniac gets an Ankle Lock going, and Cena dang near taps before reaching the ropes! Maniac launches Cena through the door to the outside, and smacks Scare around a bit. Maniac puts Cena t'rew the announce tayble....then hits the Implant DDT through another! Cena is completely destroyed!
Winner by stoppage: Maniac

-Bryan is pumped to put @TheSultanOfSlam through a tayble, and YMD and everybody else better stay away!

-MASTERY OF TAYBLES: Champion Daniel Bryan v. TheSultanOfSlam
Bryan goes for the Knee right off the bat, but Sultan catches him and tosses him backwards. Sultan picks him up, but Bryan counters with a jawbreaker. He goes for the Yes Lock, but Sultan breaks out before he can get it cinched in. The ref keeps getting in the way, to Bryan's annoyance. He comes very close to punching the ref, but thinks better of it...giving Sultan time to just run over him. Sultan picks Bryan up....and spikes him hard t'rew a tayble!
Winner and NEW MoT: Sultan

-Bryan's hurt pretty bad from that bump, but Panth helps him to the back.

-HARDCORE TITLE: Champion M. Bison v. Ric Flair
Flair must have shaken off david at some point, because he comes out looking just a bit worse for wear and still in his ref shirt. He takes Bison out at the knees to start the match, but Bison pops right back up and gets him in a chickenwing. Flair gets to the ropes, and both men tumble through to the outside. Big right hand from the champ, followed by a Devil Reverse! Flair pulls out brass knuckles and decks Bison, but that is apparently too much for the ref, who takes them away. Flair satisfies himself with a whip into the steps, then knee drops Bison on those steps! Flair goes for the Figure Four but Bison escapes. Flair throws Bison over the barricade into some chairs! He pours a drink out on Bison's head, and Bison stumbles into some fans. Bison disentangles himself...only to walk into a chair shot! Figure Four! ....Bison taps!
Winner by submission and NEW champion: Flair

-Flair takes the title into the ring to celebrate....where he is promptly jumped by Bang!

-HARDCORE TITLE: Champion Ric Flair v. UCA Champ Bangladesh DuPree
This is a match I guess! Flair lands a glancing blow with the title belt, then a series of kicks. Bang wobbles a bit, but catches Flair....and plants him with a massive powerbomb! 1....2...3!

-As @Panthera makes his entrance, Bang declares that she and Bison and the rest of YMD are here to stay, and she won't listen to anybody who wants to whine about it! She also pokes Panth in the eye while he watches the UCA Title get hoisted above the ring.

-UCA TITLE LADDER MATCH: UCA and Hardcore Champ Bangladesh DuPree v. Panthera
Series of palm strikes on Panth as he sells his eyes, but he hits a haymaker forearm shot to put an end to it. Bang whips Panth to the outside, causing a collision with the timekeeper. Bang tries to climb, but Panth catches her and gets an elevated powerbomb! Bang prevents Panth from climbing by grabbing his foot, and then gets up and hits a belly to belly. Bang climbs, but Panth pulls her off into the Cat Eyes onto the ladder! She never saw it coming. Panth climbs, but gets suplexed off! He's down for the count! Bang...climbs and gets the belt!
Winner and STILL champ: Bang

-Cueto is looking forward to this clash of video game titans, and the first ever Submission match in B8WL!

-B8WL TITLE SUBMISSION MATCH: Champion Mario v. Zangief
Zangief strikes first with a crossbody of all things, and rolls into a chokehold. Mario is saved by the ref, then goes to the ropes for a charging headbutt....but they collide headfirst! Mario seems concussed, actually, but the match continues. Mario throws a couple weak punches and a dropkick. He goes for a Crossface, but no dice. Sloppy ground pound instead. Mario tries to shake off the cobwebs as the crowd tries to rally him. Running kick to the head on the selling Zangief. Mario tries to pick Zangief up, but Zangief has had enough, and suplexes him. Zangief goes up top!....and lands a huge splash. Zangief tries it a second time, but Mario rolls away! Single leg Boston Crab, but Zangief powers out. Gief hops up and gets a half nelson, and Mario starts to fade...but spins out with a Mario Tornado! Mario fails to get all of a hip toss, and Zangief just pops back up. He charges...into a judo toss! Mario gets a Sharpshooter locked in....and Zangief taps!
Winner and STILL champion: Mario

-A humiliated Zangief glares at Mario as he stumbles away with the belt...

For anybody curious, what I did was randomize the sixteen "slots," and then made informed decisions about which of "your" teams went where and who to put on "my" teams (as a completely made up example, if I knew that the Knights Radiant were facing my "other media" slot, I'd probably send them against a team of ACTUAL Knights Radiant, whereas if the "other" team was facing YMD it might be something like the No Lynch Kru+Agatha Heterodyne)

We are gonna run five tournament matches each for both TV shows and the actual PPV. Will lead to some doublebooking, but don't worry we have senzu beans on hand to keep it fair. That leaves us one match slot per show, which will probably be a #1 contender battle royale week 1, something week 2, and a title match at the PPV.

I have tried to avoid spoilers for other media, which accounts for some of the odd decisions you might see.

gonna take a break and then make cards for the guests and then take another break and then get this show on the road :D

Of interest to probably nobody but me, I'm also using this opportunity to test out two house rules I've been thinking about for a while:
-DBL attributes, allowing you to win an attribute check even if your opponent has it!
-Tiebreakers in trios matches being first decided by the attributes of the outside partners. It will not fix the narrative problem of tag partners never getting tagged in, but it will at least let them have a mechanical effect on the match. It'd work better as a mechanic for a tornado tag match, but this'll be a good test run

-I'm not going as far out of my way to balance guests as I would a permanent addition to the fed
-I'm thinking if a guest team wins, though, they will be permanently added, and in that case I would rebalance them to bring them in line with how I create characters normally
-I think if a main roster team wins, they each get a midcard title shot

-Mario welcomes us, and goes over the Lethal Lottery tournament structure. Tonight kicks off the tournament, but the main event will be a battle royal for a shot at Mario, and his guest at this time is one of the top picks to win it....Stone Cold Steve Austin! Austin says Mario is one of the few people around he respects, as a fellow legend of his industry. They joke around a bit and have a couple of beers until @eaedwards6400 comes out! He's in the battle royal too, and he's gonna prove himself! Austin's in a good mood, so instead of a Stunner, Eaed gets a beer and a challenge to back those words up later tonight.

The face team is SUPER FIRED UP to be back on the B8WL stage. Eddv starts against the Rock, who no-sells a series of chops and spinebusters him before tagging out to Kenshin. Eddv retreats to the comforting arms of Caelus, tagging in Bowser. Kenshin gets planted, charging into a MASSIVE powerbomb! Wendy O. Koopa shows up to pose with her dad(?), giving Kenshin time to tag Sonic. Sonic's spin dash bounces right off Bowser; tag made to Ludwig. Wendy gets a Rock Bottom on the outside. Sonic gets Ludwig in an ankle lock, nearly forcing a submission. Sonic hypes up the crowd and brings Rock back in. Rock wastes time hyping up the crowd further, and Eddv pulls his leg to trip him. Tag to Bowser, who hits a big splash before Rock can recover, for a quick 2 count. Bowser gets a Texas Cloverleaf on Rock, and the ref almost misses the rope break. Eddv tags in, whiffs his finisher, and tags back out to Bowser. Gutbuster for another 2 count. Lariat for 2, tag to Eddv again. Rock finally starts taking this seriously, and boots Eddv in the head! 1....2...3!

-Dario Cueto comes out, and congratulates the Alumni on their win. It's nice that they were able to participate one last time....because they were all FIRED. Can't advance to round 2 if you have no job! MLMF will move on in the tournament, so sad.

-Elon Musk is here to hype us up for his personal choice to win this tournament....all the way from CHIKARA, please welcome THE KINGS OF WRESTLING! True to their origins, they will be up against three names, drawn out of a hat! I am not clever enough to think of good gags here, so he just gets straight to the actual team....Monster Kid from Undertale, Birgitte Silverbow from Wheel of Time, and Caesar A. Zeppeli from JJBA!

Birgitte and Cannon start, Birgitte outmaneuvering Cannon through some CHAIN WRESTLING~ and then making a very questionable tag to Monster Kid. Cannon evicts the shrimp from the ring and tags in Hero. Monster Kid endures some punishment, but survives long enough to tag back to Birgitte. Hero whips her into the corner, and gets a doubleteaming tag to Cannon. Birgitte takes it like a champ, but the Kings have her completely cut off, and Hero comes back in. Birgitte finally fights her way out of the enemy corner to tag in...Monster Kid, again. Cocky bodyslam, tag to Cannon. A cameraman is in the ring....it's Undyne! She slaps Cannon with a fish, doing more insult than injury. The crowd rallies behind these shenanigans. Bryan comes out from the back to watch....and Monster Kid smacks into him, not looking where he's going! Meanwhile Undyne and Cannon are still going at it....the ref is sick of it, and ejects Monster Kid from the match Bryan tells him good riddance! That might actually help the faces, actually. Zeppeli finally gets in the ring. Cannon tackles him...into Birgitte, who tags herself back in. Hero runs interference while the tag is made to Claudio. Birgitte slips away to tag out. Zeppeli nearly catches Claudio with a Bubble Barrier, but he powers out. Hero and Cannon doubleteam Birgitte on the outside.....preventing them from saving Claudio from a rollup! 1....2....3!

-Rocky (Balboa) is backstage, and starts griping about literal randos getting in the tournament over him. We cut away quickly.

-Knights Radiant are out first and await their opponents, who are announced as...The Alliance To End ManiacMania! We see Kaladin Stormblessed (Stormlight Archives), Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece), and Drizzt Do'Urden (Forgotten Realms) come out, but before they can explain how such an odd pairing came to be, they are interrupted by Liv Morgan! They might be strong, and legendary, and kinda glowy, but they will never take down the Knights Radiant! We'll see about that right now.

Luffy tanks a series of right hands from Maniac, but Maniac manages to get through to him with a scoopslam, and a final right hand assisted with a roll of quarters. Luffy slithers out of an Implant DDT attempt, hot tag to Drizzt! Maniac stops the momentum cold with an armbar, and tags Zangief. Drizzt goes on the offensive, but only succeeds in backing Zangief up to his own corner to tag in Kora. Liv annoys the referee as Kora deals out a nice Northern Lights Suplex. Drizzt lets the momentum take him back to tag Luffy, who gets a bulldog for his trouble. Tag to Zangief. Luffy tries to shake off the cobwebs as Zangief stomps a mudhole in him. Zangief decides to test the limits of Luffy's stretchiness with a series of holds that would injure most opponents. Zangief gets 2.9 with an Axe Bomber, but Luffy manages to reach Drizzt for the tag again. Drizzt flies into the ring with a dropkick, then follows up with [I have no idea what any of his signatures would be!] Zangief flops around for a bit while Luffy gets the tag again. (maybe Kal is stuck to the tag rope?) Gum Gum Pistol, tag to Drizzt. Drizzt slams Gief, but Gief rolls through it into a pin! 1....2...2.9! Tag to Maniac. Maniac knocks Drizzt for a loop with a European Uppercut...and hits the Implant DDT! 1....2....3!

Apparently Strife found his partners that like violence (and that are tweeners because too many faces are in this bracket)! Konnan opens up on Gulak, but Gulak just takes it and asks for more. That's weird, let's tag in Sultan instead. Sultan fares better, landing a clothesline before getting kicked in the head. Konnan cuts in on Gulak, while Sultan knocks Cassidy and Ricochet into each other headfirst. Tag to Strife. Biiiig splash on Gulak! 1....2....3!

Dr. No can be seen slipping the ref something as Whitaker and Panth start the official match, with a powerbomb on Panth. Both men start going low, the bribe is still trying to happen, and the rope is still not intact....referee Mark Mason has enough and throws out the match!

Rocky clotheslines Flair, but Flair trips him. Liv slips around @MajinZidane and hits an atomic drop. Truth hits a handspring elbow on Austin. @eaedwards6400 clocks Iskandar with a discus punch, but Iskandar is able to pay him back blow for blow. Cena charitably allows @ScareChan to get the first hit in on him. Flair trips Rocky over the top! Liv tosses Boko!

Stone Cold ground and pounds Truth. Iskandar hits a commanding slam on Eaed. Scare is informed that he can't see Cena. JACKHAMMER on Liv!, and Goldberg tosses her out!

Austin stomps a mudhole in Truth, and tries to toss him but Truth skins the cat. Truth DROPS THE DIME on him! Goldberg gets in Austin's face, but Austin throws Truth to the side and headbutts him! The Time Cops come to Eead's aid, cracking a nightstick over Iskandar's sturdy dome. Cena gives Scare some chops, and Truth jumps on them both. Scare's up first of the three. Flair low blows Truth, then hoists him out of the ring by his jeans!Stone Cold clotheslines Goldberg over the top! Eaed bullies Iskandar over the top with a long string of blows!

Cena nails Scare with a forearm shot, but Scare has the sense to tangle himself in the ropes. Cena helps him get free, but then headbutts him! Springboard Stunner! Scare BOUNCES over the top!

Your final four is Cena, Flair, Austin, and Eaed, all vying for a shot at Mario. Cena takes the fight to Flair with a flurry of blows, while the Time Cops pull Eaed out of the ring for a breather. Flair pokes Cena in the eye to cut off his momentum. Eaed rolls back into the ring....Austin charges...and Eaed ducks, bundling Austin over the top! Flair pulls the same move to eliminate Cena!

Low blow on Eaed! Flair....throws him out!
