She donated it to an organ donor pool in an attempt to get the boss moved up the organ donor list. The boss got a kidney from someone across the country but it seems like that may have happened after the woman was fired. Its also notable that the woman was fired by the dealership after she had lawyers contact the company for unknown reasons. Theres no evidence that her boss had anything to do with her being fired.
