Conservatives love this expression for some reason as if it reinforces their beliefs.

When really people tend to get more and more conservative as they get older because their world view and priorities narrow and they start only giving a shit about themselves and their family.

I was weirdly all onboard the GOP train in 2000 when I could first vote. >_>

Enthusiasm ebbed and flowed since then, didn't vote Republican for President in 2016 and voted purple in the midterms. I'm really sick of having Jim Jordan as my congressman. >_>

Republicans and Democrats demonstrate heartlessness and brainlessness at different times.

As a rule of thumb though, you can detect who's slipping based on who makes appeals to emotion and who makes actual points.

I was pretty squarely libertarian when I first could 16-19. I feel like that isn't uncommon for younger people who see the seemingly-fair principles that libertarianism represents in a vacuum (keep what you earn, keep out of people's business), without an appreciations of the societal factors that make going 100% Laissez-faire unfair to a society.

Most garden-variety libertarians don't stay in the laissez-faire phase very long, beyond factoring free-market axioms into their analysis.

They tend to drift towards conservatism, neoconservatisn, anarchism (left, even), hoppeanism, neocameralism, or occasionally fascism. Others really go in truly odd directions like anarcho-dengism, like yours truly.

It is brainless if said things listed are being guided as being humanitarian while ultimately coming at the expense of others. I personally do not care if a woman wants to be a deadbeat and kill her unborn baby that was the result of consensual sexual intercourse with an even bigger deadbeat broke loser than she is, I do have a problem and take offense when jackasses try to advocate that is a universal right that should be free. I dont know the woman, never met her in my life, therefore am not the one that impregnated her, yet she somehow has a right to abort her offspring at my expense? Get the hell out of here with this nonsense. Forcing productive working people of society to subsidize a womans poor life choices is not about womens health.

An unborn fetus is a lot less expensive than a whole actual life. You're mad about people more than you are concerned with your wallet.

Im pro-choice. I fully support a womans right to have sex with dumber men than she is and then kill her baby to relieve herself of the consequences of her actions, I do not under any circumstances support being forced to subsidize her poor life decisions.

Only 10% of Planned Parenthood's services are abortion-related. Any federal funds that go towards Planned Parenthood are specifically earmarked for non-abortive services.

Yet Republicans and hate groups still want to destroy Planned Parenthood.

On the subject of Planned Parenthood though, the money they spend on political campaigns is money that could be utilized for the services they provide lol.

They aren't allowed to provide those services without political campaigns to change laws. Also, those funds are separate. Money used in political campaigns are provided from political donations and have nothing do with the actual Planned Parenthood services.

It is a dumb statement, as a right to one implies forcing everyone, including those that are not for the practice for ethical/religious reasons to take part in providing the service of killing babies for the women that want it.

False. Only that you get out of the way. People have a right to certain types of property. I don't necessarily agree with every single one of those specific rights. However, my taxes go towards security and police and courts in order to protect that right. That's as far as my 'involvement' goes.

That's like saying that I'm forced to take part in bombing Iraq because my taxes go to the military.

Your logic is so 3rd grade horrendous.

You are tho lol. I was forced to subsidize Obama bombing and mass murdering innocent brown people because people loved him so much and thought he was so cool. Im presently forced to subsidize Trump doing the exact same at a faster rate because people loved him so much and blame Mexicans and other scapegoats for their lousy life decisions in life. Youre doing mental gymnastics. Im using consistent logic, youre using 3rd grade level nu uh! deflections and non-arguments dude lol.

Ah, so you don't believe in the right to property, or a universal right to education, or a universal right to water, healthcare, etc., or just the mere concept of a representative government.

You do not have a right to the labor of others and forcing them to provide shit you want at their expense as that directly erodes upon their rights.

Who decides what those rights are? Where's the dividing line? Who's to say that the air and natural resources underneath a plot of land belong to you, more than me?

The only way to navigate and protect those rights is to be forced to pay taxes and have a representative government to debate and decide.

Otherwise, there are no rights. Whoever kills the other gets to keep their property.

These are the same emotional rhetoric fueled arguments that MAGA cappers use to justify eminent domain to forcefully kick people off of their private property via the threat of State violence to build a big collectivist communist FDR public works project called a wall.

Without a funded government to protect and enforce those rights to begin with, there wouldn't be any right to private property.

Whoever has the most strength would get to keep their property.

So I guess you don't believe in a genuine right to life, either.
