DC needs to stop trying to replicate the success of the MCU and just focus on making individual good movies.

Disney has developed a culture where many people now feel left out of the conversation if they don't watch all the MCU movies, it's not something DC can just replicate because they want to.

Two of those were good, one was only good in a "so cheesy it winds up being unintentionally fun" way, and one was massively overpraised because vagina.

It's certainly an improvement, but considering the raging tire fire it was beforehand, that doesn't necessarily mean much. I definitely wouldn't assume every movie from here out is going to be great.

Especially with the apparent clusterfuck the new Harley Quinn movie looks like it's going to be. And I honestly don't expect much out of WW2, Aquaman 2, and The Flash (I expect them all to be relatively mediocre - not terrible, not great, just meh).

Edward-from-Twilight as Batman and Suicide Squad are a lot harder to predict, and Black Adam is potentially interesting for multiple reasons. So it's not like everything coming down the way looks terrible. But I wouldn't be ready to start saying DC's got their shit together just yet.

MCU movies aren't that great. It shouldn't be hard to replicate. It's a mediocre movie with small cameo or reference to another hero. DC should be able to manage that.
