There is also a variation of this email that spoofs your email address and includes a password you might recognize. This is due to other companies having security breaches. So hackers will set up a script that mails this password to the corresponding email address. Since a lot of people still use the same password on multiple accounts, they will believe the bluff that the hacker has access to their email account.
