It's not convenient. It's a legit issue. I personally only care about contact sports. I don't think it should be allowed in boxing or mma. It's also a legit issue for biological females athletes trying to get a scholarship. People are too willing to let the issue slide. It will come and bite feminism and trans people in the ass if they don't talk about it. There is already lawsuits flying because biological females feel they got screwed out of a scholarship contention.

It's an unfair advantage.

The reason men's and women's sports are separate is because women are at a biological disadvantage when competing with male athletes. When a person is born into the wrong body, medical science can't make up the difference on everything. They're still competing with male strength. And even if estrogen takes some of that away, they're still considerably stronger than most cis females. A cis woman on illegal muscle enhancers can't compete with a trans woman if they're both athletes.

I'm not going to be unfair to 90% of female athletes just to earn brownie points for approving of a trans woman's right to dominate.

It may also be noteworthy that when people who identify as liberal take some issue with things people further left than themselves want, the more moderate liberals are accused of note really being liberal at all.

I suspect that the nature of Progressivism is just pulling away from whatever the current status quo is. So, as society gets more Liberal, new generations of progressives still want to pull further and, over time, the previous generations aren't liberal or progressive enough.

Speaking of political sides not being a hive mind and conservatism, isn't there some spat going on lately between guys like Charlie Kirk and Nick Fuentes?

Maybe there should just be 1 sports league for every sport with no gender requirements. Equal pay complaints will end and nobody complains about which league the transgenders play in.

There are more than just the Olympics in terms of sports. There are at least a few cases of Transgenders competing and coming in the top brackets.

Keep in mind, the total population of people with gender disphoria is 0.002% of the population at best (at most, there are 140,000 people worldwide diagnosed). The total amount of male-to-female is even smaller, and the amount of those who transition is even smaller.

In short, the amount of male-to-female transgender athletes is a very, very, very, very small population. Of the ones who are in the public, most have either come in top placements or win sporting events.

You do know that a lot of Conservatives are biological women, right? Those women care about the records women achieve, as well as their daughters, sisters and so on who have to compete against trans women.

This reminds me of the never-ending abortion debate when pro-abortion supporters blame men for wanting to control women, but eventually they have to accept the uncomfortable fact that protesters against abortion are very often also women.
