Ever since October 27 I've been watching one main trilogy Star Wars film each week until The Rise of Skywalker is released.

I'm watching it with first timer. A woman in her mid 20s. Here are some of her reactions (that I remember):

Episode IV

• Good movie

Episode V

• Han and Leia's first kiss had good tension
• "Why isn't Darth Vader showing more emotions knowing his son is alive?"
• Wonders if Darth Vader can beat Goku and Zeus?

Episode VI

• Favorite of the original trilogy
• Loved the cute Ewoks
• Ending killed her image of Darth Vader's rule

Episode I

• So Obi-Wan had two trainers? (Upon learning Qui-Gon is Obi-Wan's master in TPM
• Podracing scene was exciting and stressful
• Qui-Gon cheats with the force
• What if Qui-Gon father's Anakin's step brother?
• Aw Qui-Gon dies?
• oh Darth Maul dies, too?
• Suspects Palpatine as someone shady
• After seeing Jar Jar good around during the final battle "oh that's why people say he's so clumsy"

Empire is my favorite

The last half of Revenge of the Sith is awesome too

She suspects Palpatine as someone shady? Since she saw RotJ first shouldn't she know that? >_>

I'm trying to not spoil anything so I didn't bring it up to her, but I believe she doesn't realize they're the same actor.

Return of the Jedi has always been my favorite

Episode V and Episode I
Oh yeah she thinks that if Yoda was able to lift the X-wing out of the water, then it's possible Qui-Gon Jinn used the force to make Anakin's pod go faster.

Related [Episode VI]: I learned that Endor was supposed to be Kashyyyk. George Lucas wanted Wookies to be primitive in contrast to the Stormtroopers, but thought it would confuse the audience since Chewie is so tech savvy.

Man that last battle would have been so much better.

So if the Empire had tie fighters flying around as a matter of course wherever their fleet was, why didn't the First Order have their tie fighters out at the start of TLJ?

Why are there remnants of the Empire forty years after Princess Leia rebuilt Galactic republic? That's the real question.

And the real answer is Disney said they were hiding iirc

Yeah I wish I didn't reveal how Luke and Leia are siblings. I wonder if what reaction that would have produced. I told her this tidbit before we even started episode iv
