Battle system is live (for me at least, level 36) and allow me to let you all in on an early secret

Crustle with Fury Cutter and X-Scissor = ELITE. X-Scissor recharges fast and a majority of players are idiots so it's a great way to get them to burn their shields quickly

That's the only protip you'll get from me. Heaven knows we might match up against each other and I will not have my own tactics used against me

Great choices. I've been running a Kingdra+Azumarill combo, 5-0 and haven't even had to bring in a third Pokemon yet. (and Altaria is better overall than Kingdra)

Okay so I have Azumarill/Altaria/Venusaur (no frenzy plant unfortunately)

Altaria is a fucking beast. Attacks and builds up charge so fast and it tanks well too

I'm gonna have to start minmaxing more on Ultra and Great league stuff too, I spent about 1.5 million dust maxing stuff out like my 100 Tyranitar and Dragonite.

My Blastoise wrecks great league though lol one Skull Bash and just tear through their shields and HP with Hydro Cannon.

bought a pokemon step device hatched an egg in under an hour.
this thing is going to work so well in ridding of 5k eggs (they're a burden) much more than 2k, 7k and 10k.

thinking about switching out piloswine for lapras (he does well but he's not recommended for great league) have something that helps to negate electric pokemon.

Iirc it's only open to lv40 players, it will unlock gradually to all players.

someone was asking about this. maybe that's the bonus for getting to rank 6 (don't have to walk as much). just gotta queue in the battle when you reach enough. then walk 3km more. you'll have 2 battle sets banked when you get home.

thinking about ultra league it's going to be very hard finding the pokemon for that :( need 2500 stuff.

It's definitely not a rank 6 reward as I have it at 4. They mentioned changing it in response to feedback

it's a welcome change. those rewards really pay off (2k stardust for winning battles) plus whatever else drops from winning.
the mystery reward can be tm's, sinnoh stone or berry.

Just halved the amount of Pokemon I currently had boxed up... went from like 2200 to 1100.

So I have a hit miss experience with Go League. Sometimes I get 5 wins in a row, other times I get stomped by Altaria, Azumaril, Skarmory, Lapras, and Swampert. I don't really have much to work with to counter those, so I gotta start digging into my boxes and see. My shiny Mightyena might be a fun wild card to balance out my team, as it can learn all 3 elemental fangs, Ice would probably be the strongest.

i think they give rank rewards for participating even if you lose you still gain 2k stardust at rank 7. per 5 trainer battles.
i decided not to go for altaria thinking my current team is fine (kinda grown on me) having bulldoze may help in some encounters where i face an ice type.

Imo they need to have two streak tiers each for basic and premium.

1 is just for participating. Say you get a Mystery item, 1 rare candy, 1 pokemon encounter, 500 stardust and 5 ultra balls just for participating in your 5 battles. This encourages weaker players to keep at it honing their teams/skills and also helps rural/ players a bit with TMs, Rare candies and balls/dust.

While the other is for wins and is basically the same as it is now.

Also ditch the stardust reward in the premium wins #2 tier with more Rare candy.

Yeah but Deino, Riolu and Litwick(and basically anything from the last two gens that isn't garbage) rates in 7/10k are SHIT.

Feebas, Absol and Mawhile for days

Any source of more candy for them is a blessing.

I just got Darmanitan. Got lucky enough to hatch 3 Darumaka during the event so I had enough candy without giving extra

I missed out in Minccino and I'm not worried about Darumaka lol. They make these things super widespread after a while, I'm not gonna waste any time or coins on incubators. I remember going hard for Shinx and Riolu for gen 4, now I have too many of them.
