What's up with the AR? I have a daily to take snapshots, but when I open the camera, it says "slowly look around a flat open area with your camera" but the whole screen is black (save for the exit button and the question mark in the circle)

Anyone else having this issue?

Disable AR+ in the settings, just scroll down a bit toward the bottom and you'll see it. That way you don't have to do any special gimmicks to interact with your buddy.

Side note: finally got a damn Unova stone, can evolve my Panpour... now I need some damn Litwick and Gible.

I only got the 1 that was guaranteed from the Halloween special research. I had it as my buddy for a month and got more than enough candies, but I still need a good one lol

Yeah I don't have the setting to disable, I think same problem as someone else earlier ITT if memory serves

ditto. logging out of account and logging back in is the only way to fix it. though my phone is an LG empire.

not sure how things work in a bigger town but i can agree. radar points out to locations of leaders so it's a 1 in 3 chance of finding the one you need.

Man this latest update is forcing this "try the AR!" prompt every time I click on a Pokemon, but it still has the same issue I'm having above, so I turn it off, but it still prompts me again every time I click a Pokemon since I can't set it up

It is very obnoxious

Nah they are not worth anything. Legacy ones rarities got nerfed when Lapras had a raid day last year, those had Ice Shard/Ice Beam as their moves.

Articuno, Mamoswine, Glaceon, Weavile, even Mewtwo are all better Ice-types

would say budget ice type if you didn't have any of the above options. i leveled up into 36. it's going to take a very long time reaching 2 million xp by friending/playing everyday.

main priority is to level up machamp and Tyranitar if i can find his candy's.
also promoted sceptile into a rocket attacker. he dealt with the water team very well.

Lapras is very good in Great and Ultra League PVP. If you care about defenders, it's one of the better ones out there. But yeah, not what you want to rely on for an attacker.

Oh, damn it.

I was like 3 Candies away from evolving my Machoke when I realized I have a Machop slightly worse (2 points lower in HP) but a solid twelve levels higher.

So I had to drop 25 to evolve that one since it's a huge cost reduction in the long run.

The buddy Machoke is like level 20, it'd take forever to level.

How do you know the levels? Any cp to level converyor or what? Same for specific IVs

Levels can be read with the stardust cost to power up.

Specific IVs are stated on appraisal screen.

Plus eggs always hatch at level 20 once you get >level 20.

The bars represent the IV values for the stats. Each stat bar goes from 0 to 15, with 2 notches or dividers that represent the 5, 10, and 15 IV numbers.



This Magnemite has 15 attack, 13 defense and 14 HP. When you add the numbers together and divide by 45, that gives you the IV percentage, which for this Magnemite is rounded to 93%.

The 3 star ratings are also used to show IV combo percent ranges. 0 stars is an IV combo that is 49% or lower. 1 star is 51% to 64%. 2 stars is 66% to 80%. 3 stars is 82% to 98%, and 3 red stars with red bars is a perfect or 100% IV.
