Who did you give the medicine to?

Who did you give it to? I choose Esther. Tbh, I almost didnt even see her. But I heard her, and decided to talk to her first...

I got the quest when I talked to Abernathy. He was mumbling to himself when I found him. I was just trying to shake him down for his gravesite money. But I asked him about what he was talking about. He said he was sick. So, he made me go look for medicine on a specific place.

You have to go into the house next to the bar to talk to Abernathy.

The first time I played through that part I missed him because I heard him coughing and noped out of his house (I avoided the sick house for the same reason).

Esther. Mainly because, if you believe her, Abernathy is a hypochondriac who is going to use all the medicine himself in spite of not needing it, whereas Esther is going to give it to multiple people who actually do need it.

Granted, it's always possible she's lying and she's just going to sell it or something, but the game doesn't really give you any obvious hints that she's not telling the truth, so it's mostly just a toss-up to decide who to trust. Esther will e-mail you later in the game to thank you, though, which makes her seem more legit.

Though to be fair, if you can reconcile the two groups and bring Adelaide back to Edgewater, and it's implied she's going to help cure the plague anyway, so it's not necessarily as life-and-death as it seems to begin with.

For your own reference, you can also bring the drugs to the police chief. She'll give you a reward and put them into lockup as illegal contraband so no one gets it, but you'll get influence with the corporations.
