Do raids show up anywhere other than the intro Wild Area? I have 3 badges now so Im hoping to see stuff that isnt 1* repeat trash already

Every single raid den in the entire Wild Area can range from 1* to 5*.

Oh god I headed to the next town it told me to go to. I went into a Cafe and this dude has Pokmon in the high 30s while mine are in the mid 20s so I got slaughtered

Wow the game just crashed on me while I was in the Wild Area. Kicked me right out. Not that anything new was showing up for me anyways most of the time. Goddamn 1* Nincada and Pidove and Chewtle everywhere

OK I gotta replace this bug. Whimpod was near Magikarp tier so I thought I was getting a Gyarados, but this dude is....fine....

What a world where I can't decide between 5 Fire pokemon, but I'm struggling to give a shit about any water types.

oh what? I did a bunch of digging and ended up with just a bunch of dinos and birds. Ive gotten 8ish of both of them but none of the other two.

Aww if you fail to beat a G-max I guess you cant try again? I had saved before doing it, failed and when I closed out to try and start again it was just a regular 50w spot ugh

Either that or it resets spots at midnight maybe

ok I just spent every watt I had, 14000, on digging and turns out I was wrong about the version exclusivity, but theres definitely a weight to their drop rate. I now have:
12 birds
11 dinos
3 drakes
1 fish

I've missed four Butterfrees, two Drednaws, a Centiskorch, a Sandacobra, and a Corviknight. And all of these were 3* or less, so it's not even a matter of me being vastly underleveled or anything.

Make sure you're using dusk balls, they are by far the balls I've had the best luck with. They're really cheap if you buy them with Watts I think.

Also is there anyone willing to help me with raids? I can brute force my way through some of the five star ones with just the AI, but god damn are they dumb. Galvantula gave me fits since that has multiple moves that can OHKO all three of them at once when they keep sending in water types. And connecting to raids with randos seems to be next to impossible.

As disappointed as I am that for the majority of the campaign the only story beats are tied to the Gym Challenge something which has always served as complementary to villain organizations and the like I will say that its a very good thing that these games have at least sold the Gym Challenge better than ever before. All my disappointment temporarily fades away every time Gloria steps out on the field and the GOAT gym leader fight music starts.

Just finished the main game. At least the overleveling problem finally disappeared for the final battle, which ended up being a reasonably tough fight

So far I feel like gym leader levels arent going up much. 2nd gym level was really close to the 1st and the 3rd wasnt much higher. Still in line with the rest of the series though probably since the first leader is quite a bit higher than usual

All G-Max are raid exclusive right? Like you gotta catch a G-Max Drednaw to use a G-Max Drednaw at all? I wonder if that means trying forever to get a good one on top of them already being hard to catch >_>. Can you even use them outside of Raids and Gym Battles? Im guessing probably co-op battles online or something, but seems like a lot of work for something fairly limited in use

Theyre gonna be at least 4IV if they were 5* raids, so a nature candy plus maybe a bottle cap or two and theyll be perfect

Yeah, the only trouble you would have with a raid Pokmon is if you want a 0 attack or speed IV on it. Everything else can be fixed now.
