Jeff AKA Snoopy 11/13/19 7:22:38 PM #1:	Assuming that all the reports are true and everything, the Houston Astros used center field cameras to steal signs and thus cheated. And have been, presumably, cheating for at least the last 3 years. What is the appropriate punishment for such cheating? My immediate thought is to take away 5-10 draft picks from the franchise. They cheated to increase their potential, taking away draft picks will hinder their potential. Hell, make it the next 10 first round picks, or something of that kind. A friend of mine thinks that they should have their World Series title win stripped from them, which I think is perhaps extreme. It's not illegal to steal signs, so obviously sign stealing isn't inherently bad (or there's just no way of really stopping it), but using electronics to do so is forbidden so they don't want people to do it too well... The Astros had a large benefit as they described how they knew which pitches were coming & their strike out rate went from middle of the pack to being the hardest team in baseball to strike out for the last 3 years.
