Yeah I think this is the first time I've ever paid more than $25 for any amount of time for bowling. But oh well it's nice to see new parts of the city

I had a great time guys. I was worried i fucked up at the beginning there but Vanai swooped in with the save and the day went on as planned.

What are some ideas you guys have for the next one?

Here are things weve done in the past. Arcade bar(2), laser tag and escape room.

I've been to a trampoline park, they're very big and springy trampolines that launch you high enough to do backflips. They're super fun

Some other things in the area, but they're spread out from DC as a central location -

Viking Festival in Manassas (on a Saturday in May IIRC)
Baltimore Fleet Week
RennFest in Annapolis area
There's a Six Flags in MD, too

Thanks for wrangling us all together! It was a certifiable hoot.

Laser tag and escape rooms sound like a lot of fun. When it gets warmer, there are lots of nice areas all over the region for hiking and maybe tubing.

It's a little costly, but the Spy Museum is fun if we're looking for D.C. things. It's more interactive than typical, free, socially-heralded museums, so that could be a good speed for us all if we still wanted to talk and goof about a little.

Heck, no! Easy as chucking a ball. If everything we do is practice, it can only be good for us and we can only get better.

Make sure to get the right weight ball, though, because if you wrench your wrist the wrong direction, it can put a detriment on the whole rest of the game. It's unlikely to hurt you long-term unless you really jack it up, but it's no fun playing with a minor strain. Don't fear the granny throw.

The Spy museum is cool but it's organized in a very hectic manner and it gets overwhelming with the ridiculous amount of information there.

Not a bad choice, though.

Aw, those are fun. I've never done a DC one, but I imagine they're all pretty similar across cities, just with different local flavor.

If anyone's willing to come up as far as Baltimore, there are the zoo, science center, aquarium and a lot of great local eats.

Honestly Baltimore is closer than DC lol. Been to the aquarium a few times and I love it, but it's pretty expensive. Haven't been to the zoo there yet though.
