Like, cutting out any prior hint or appearance of Spidey in the film itself, the uproar and hype involved when Spider-Man just up and shows up in the airport fight scene would've been insane, I imagine.

This is what they tried to do with T2 for a long time. Not tell that the t-800 was good this time. Then they just gave it away for some reason.

I got to experience that, because I don't obsessively watch trailers, screenshots, news, and try to piece together the entire movie's story months before it even comes out.

That way, I got to see everything fresh. When Black Panther appeared I was like oh shit that's so cool. When Spiderman appeared I was literally bouncing up and down on my chair. To think that was only a few years ago and now it seems so blase to have spiderman in mcu...

To be fair in some of the original trailers I've seen you cant tell he is a good guy just from the trailer. The movie is just so ingrained in popular culture that everyone knows imo
