Sounds like a cool idea for a tattoo.

Definitely talk to an artist, they understand what can and cannot be done as a tattoo and what will look good.

Also, understand that good tattoos cost money. Do NOT try to short-change your artist.

For some reason people think they can lowball tattoo artists. You wouldn't try to lowball at a restaurant or literally for any other service. Pay what the tattoo is worth, it will last longer than literally anything in your life.

Im kinda snowed in on the Jedi Symbol and that is how I found the tat in the OP So some take on it?

Very very good advice. Both getting professional advice and about the payment. A tattoo is not the right thing to be frugal on.

Do you mind if I ask your age? I'm 37, and got three tattoos between the ages of about 18 and 25. "Regret" is a strong word, and though they are all very discrete I have to be honest and say I wouldn't get any of them again if given the choice. Definitely not trying to talk you out of it, but sometimes at my work I will overhear the young kids talk about how they want to get the Dark Mark from Harry Potter tattooed on them or something and I have to roll my eyes anyway, lol.

Im a 30-year old manchild but yes, many get tattoos without thinking it through. Ive been thinking about getting one for years but felt unsure about what to get.

Here's what I originally had in mind, it's still a WIP and I kind of blitzed it in a couple minutes. I don't like the handle design and I want to put Luke, Yoda and Obi Wan left to right on the tips of the lightsabers. That's gonna take a while though since I need to get the pictures from screenshots and work on cleaning them. The inside of the Jedi logo is also a bit so-so, it's a solid colour (meh)

I know you love the original trilogy and the only Jedi lightsaber colours were green and blue. I could try and put Windu and purple if you like but that prequel trio. And Vaders red doesn't match the Jedi logo

So, uh, feedback?

Click on the link. Transparent png images don't work well in gamefaqs it seems. Or maybe that's because I use blue on black and not default colours

Also, Gimp is much easier than trying to actually draw the Jedi logo, I'll tell you that. I'd mess up the ratios or the curve radius or it wouldn't be symmetrical and I'd get frustrated and quit lol

No, if it means something to you then it is totally fine. I have original tattoos and tattoos based off things I love.

Most decent artists dont want to tattoo what someone else already has tattooed
They tend to put more passion into it if its an original piece
I mean, they'll probably still do it for you. but its good to let them be creative with it as well

You can bring that to them during the consultation though and say you want something similar
