When I was growing up, yes. We were extremely poor.

It hasnt happened for a while now but Im afraid it could start happening again soon. But Im more worried about figuring out health insurance if its even possible because Im also losing that soon.

Honestly though Im pretty lucky. Weirdly my city has one of the highest crime rates in the country but also seems to have decent social services in some areas. When I was straight-up homeless for a few months, I didnt have too much trouble finding food at community meals and from pantries and such. Of course I had other homeless people to help me with that.
