The DLC is just a free final chapter. Original game has 8 chapters, DLC adds chapter 9 as a sort of epilogue.
I'd say the length of the final chapter is about 2.5 of a normal chapter. --- skull ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yeah it's a fantastic game, difficulty is challenging but not super frustrating. The final screen of the final stage, before the DLC was released, took me 2 straight hours to finally beat.

I managed to beat Super Meat Boy (the real ending), so I am definitely willing to power through a challenging game if it's good enough. As long as I don't need to do any annoying 100%ing in order to get the "real ending," I'll certainly try to beat it.

Oh yeah you'll be fine then. All of the collectibles are optional but you do need to beat all of the extra levels to play the final chapter. You unlock the extra levels by finding hidden cassette tapes in the regular levels.

The DLC is chapter 9 which is well worth it.
I got my physical copy over a week ago but I preordered it months ago from Limited Run Games. Celeste is definitely a top 5 game of the decade for me personally I hope you really enjoy it! ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yeah this is a LRG physical with a different cover I think? It's a Best Buy exclusive version.
