AP Bio underperformed in a big way

Sunnyside got cancelled within 4 weeks and relegated to finishing its run on Hulu

Now we have Perfect Harmony

Man gets stuck in nowhere place he thinks hes too good for but falls in with funny nitwits and learns to love again is not a genre that people look for.

When are they going to realize that people loved Community because every single person involved in that production was unbelievably talented? Community didnt even stay on its original premise all that long either. So whats the deal? Why do we keep getting these shitty things clearly intended to recapture the magic?

tbh, season 1 of Community was probably its worst... well, up until Glover left. Joel Hale was great on Community, but I really got into the show because of Abed & Troy and Abed's zaniness took a huge hit without Troy.

Im not necessarily a fan of most of Buzzs episodes in 5 either.

But 6 might actually be one of my favorite final seasons of a show ever.

I think its kinda weird that in two of their most popular shows, The Good Place and Superstore the lead male character stepped down from a leadership position to be replaced by the lead female

Im not normally one to whine about SJWs and whatnot but it seemed weird to me and I wonder if its something maybe executives pushed for

Ugh, I hate Superstore, but I loyally watch it every week.

BTW, Perfect Harmony is really bad, and this is coming from someone who loves musicals. Maybe Im just not a fan of musicals where the songs are diegetic *grumble grumble*

You can't recapture community. NBC fucked that up. Hard.
Yahoo was raking in 10m views per episode during the final season, and the season (apart from the finale) wasn't even good.
Network television is fucked (has been for a decade) and networks still don't get it.

I dont wanna make any snap judgements about shows right now (although this season of new shows is looking VERY disappointing so far), and even The Good Place is falling HORRIBLY flat with this final season, but... yikes.

At least South Park has been solid.

and 911 is hilari-awful enough that I can binge it no problem.

I am enjoying Castle Rock Season 2, and Silicon Valley Season 6 so far. I did not watch any television between STD Season 2 ending and Castle Rock Season 2. And there's Man in the High Castle (final season) and The Expanse coming soon.

I've also been watching raws of Pocket Monsters SM on Sunday mornings. Makes me feel like I'm 10 again.

I hate it when shows do that. Happy Endings and Crowded also did that. In the case of Crowded, it fucked over the story and probably accelerated their failure. I really liked Crowded.
