I suddenly have felt compelled to to stay up night and early morning trying to beat Luigi's Mansion 3 in 12 hours, before my roomie wakes up and continues playing it. Wish me luck!

My first thoughts were "Oh god, not another Mario game with no dialogue! That totally killed 3D Land for me!

I also thought "This is kinda bright for a Luigi's Mansion game. Ah well, obvious calm before the storm.

Then we got dialogue, and I'm all "Oh hell yes!"

Hehe, like someone in another topic said, Luigi sleeps with his shoes on! He wakes up in middle of the night to Peach screaming! Thank god the subtitles said it was Peach too, or I Wouldn't know.

Of course King Boo is back from the first game. His voice is actually a little chilling, Well done Nintendo!

That ghost doggy is so cute! And he brought me the ghost vaccum or whatever it's called, and taught me the controls. Hope he shows up later.

...

And a half hour in and I feel absolutely nothing from this game at all. It was kinda charmig for at first, but after the cute doggy tutorial, the charm fades pretty fast when that's all you have to offer. Gonna give it another half hour or so, and if it doesn't impress me I'm moving on.

while I see it as heresy, I believe theres an option in settings to turn E. Gadd off.

@krazychao5 Played a bit of the demo of Luigi's Mansion at Wal-Mart a LONG time ago. Gameplay was fun.

I'm playing it co-op and having a blast. If you get the urge to play again, I recommend trying to find all the gems on each floor as they are tricky and usually require a combination of Luigi's abilities.

E. Gadd seems to be more annoying and a bit of a dick in this game. You can turn his hints off and he'll bother you less.
