I'm in South Korea right now, and they just recently in the last few years ousted a controversial President.

There's a lot of far-right folk you see setting up tents, passing out flyers on trains, going on about how leftists sabotaged her, and how she should be released from prison.

So I assume if Trump is ousted before 2024 America will have stuff like that going on.

I mean, there'll be a few riots, maybe a couple dozen drunken bar fights. One or two car attacks at worst.

But most, I think, just won't have the wherewithal to do very much. That's not to say they won't care; there'll be tons of screaming and crying, and over the following few weeks I do think welfare checks will turn up a couple hundred suicides. But turning those emotions into action? Nah. They don't have it in them.

I don't think anything too big will happen. News outlets will cover the story morning, noon and night, while comedians everywhere will get a treasure trove of new jokes that will see them through the next five plus years. Trump supporters will probably bitch about it all, but not actually do anything.

What I want to know is what will Democrats do when Trump is not removed from office. Four more years of investigations, with nothing else to focus on?
