I go to the Mall of America once or twice a week. It is about a 40 minute drive depending on traffic conditions.

Yeah a few times, it's pretty good.

It's a big mall with an amusement park inside. A majority of it is the typical clothing/department stores that you can find at any other wall.

There are some fun gimmick stores like game stores, a cheese store, beef jerky store, and even this awesome store with all these cool liquors: https://www.vomfassusa.com/collections/spirits , but a lot of this fun stuff is out of the way, whereas all the typical mall stuff is front and center.

There's a decent food court and a few restaurants, laser tag and bowling, a movie theater, at least two arcades, and I think a VR place.

You could kill a day there, but be prepared to spend money, all the fun stuff is expensive.

If you are referring to Smaaash on level 4, they got shut down a couple weeks ago. I've heard conflicting stories of why, but I did like that place when it was around.

I'd say I usually go there anywhere from 1-4 times a year. It's weird to think outsiders will come to MN and literally plan a huge chunk of their trip around going there; usually when I go to the MOA it's just a fun place to kill an afternoon.

Nope. But there's a new mall that opened near me last week, The American Dream, and it's supposed to be bigger than the Mall of America.

I live about 10 minutes away.

The first time I went to the mall of america was during my first venture into online dating. About 5 years ago now,I was still newish to the area and I had been talking to someone on whatever dating site. We had made plans to do something that day, then a few hours before she texted me "hey want to go to the moa?"

But in my head I read 'moa' as an actual word so I was like hmm what is that, some kind of Hawaiian themed club, sounds cool. So I texted back yeah sure sounds great, then googled moa and was let down a little.

Went last year when i flew to Minny on holidays. It was pretty cool.

But without home grown Canadian bias, IMO West Edmonton Mall is better. Amusement Park, Waterpark, ice rink, sea lion show, undersea show, shooting range, huge pirate ship, submarines, etc plus a million stores.

I live 25 minutes away. I actually worked at moa for a couple months at a clothing store. By far the worst job I've ever had.

I go to moa about a handful times a year. It is decent shopping. I especially like going there in the winter when it is crazy cold outside. Parts of moa give you a feel like its outdoors type of vibe.

I can't wait for the new water park to be added. I believe it starts construction early 2020 and is set to open in 2022-23 or something like that.
