my problem with King of the Monsters was that we didn't see most of the monsters, enough. some only got like 1 scene of just walking around. I wanted more variety of battles. it was mostly just Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidora.

King of Monsters was amazing if you just pretend there are no humans.
Literally every second the humans were onscreen (except the Asian dude; he ruled) was MST3K bad, but literally every second the monsters were onscreen was killer. --- 53 LIII 0b110101 p16 0x35 ... Copied to Clipboard!

The 2014 one was entertaining enough, but I'd rate it pretty low in the franchise overall. King of the Monsters was the opposite though. Probably one of the best films in the Godzilla franchise. It wasn't perfect, but it was mostly what a Godzilla movie should be.
If Godzilla vs. Kong brings back another major villain monster (hopefully Destroyah) then it will probably be very good too. --- Ah, yes, the Negotiator: General Kenobi <sneaky beeping> ... Copied to Clipboard!

Skull island was pretty good for being just a monster movie. I didn't care at all for the human characters. I never saw king of the monsters though, I will eventually. I just don't like ghidrah is dead so fast. Godzilla goes back to toho everything will be alright again.
