Like, was he wearing a maga hat/shirt or chanting some sort of pro trump rhetoric or something else that made him stand out? Or was this just a random encounter? It's possible that the fan just didn't like to be put on the spot and didn't want the attention, and that's why he shook his head no. Shy and backwards people can be like that. Or, maybe he was actually a trump supporter. If we have no more information than what has been given here, we just don't know sure.
