Forever alone in a galaxy far far away, failed Jedi Anakin Skywalker seeks connection as he ventures across space. Anakin wears two masks -- the one he wears for his day job as a Jedi, and the guise he projects in a futile attempt to feel like he's part of the world around him. Isolated, mistreated and disregarded by the Jedi council, Skywalker begins a slow descent into madness as he transforms into the dark lord known as the Darth Vader.

If they dont have it in the works already, all the execs overseeing Lucasfilm should be fired for brazen incompetence. The DV scenes in Rogue One have still easily been the best stuff that Disneys Star Wars pics have produced. Though the Mandalorian might change that.

I've actually been working on a piece re-conceiving of the whole prequel trilogy. The first episode deals with Anakin's fall to the Dark Side and the rise of the Empire, the second deals with a still-young Darth Vader hunting down the rest of the Jedi and thwarting rebellions and coups, and the third one is basically Rogue One but less bloated, with Vader doing his day job (hunting down the rebels who stole the plans) as a subplot. Its a nice way to waste time.
