Current Events > Anyone own both a Switch and a Switch Lite?

Im a junkie, so contemplating.

1) Any benefits to owning both? Quality of life, etc?

2) Is the Lite nicer as a handheld, or just cheaper?

3) Is save data between a home Switch and travel Switch easily transferable?

As long as Nintendo is having their Joy-Con drift issues, I don't see any purpose in buying a Lite at all (because at least with the regular Switch you could detach and replace the Joy-Cons).

The lite is so much better for handheld it's a handheld console afterall

Amen. Joycon drift ruined the switch's portability for me after two sets had this same problem. Makes the Switch more expensive than it should be essentially.

the switch light is smaller and has better battery

Yeah, Im reading lots of people saying they actually like having both, with the Lite being ideal for personal handheld use and the regular Switch mostly staying docked while still being portable when you wanna do the single joycon tabletop multiplayer thing for Mario Kart/Snipperclips

Its not NECESSARY but might be fun >__> I do find the regular Switch vaguely cumbersome to actually take on the go. Might be nice.
