I have not tried it but......

I traveled to NY recently and while there, the day before I returned, I got pizza from this place I had eaten at before.......and it was glorious.

NY pizza by itself is good, but there are places in NY that elevate pizza to new heights and this is one of them. The cheese is so good, that even though I felt sick after eating 3 pieces, I was willing to order more pizza again the next day (I resisted...barely....but I wanted to so bad. I just didn't want to be sick on the plane).

I may try the pizza hut pizza you are talking about, but I have not been a huge fan of their cheese in the past. It tastes more like a cottage cheese (melted) then a mozz to me.

But I remember hearing they changed their ingredients awhile ago.

Anyway.........good pizza is so dangerous. Even steak...I love it, but I have mostly cut beef out of my life at this point. I can resist it (although if I smell it cooking it's still hard).

Good to great pizza though? It's just plain evil. The salt and cheese....they are not good for me, the bread/crust is bad as well (I'm diabetic), it's pretty much bad for me all together, but it's harder to resist then even soda (which I struggle not to drink and mostly succeed).

If I lived near hunting beach/melville NY...I would die within a year because of that pizza...but...it would be worth it.

Oh, didn't realize it was melted yellow/cheeze it cheese in the pizza, I would never eat that/like that. I don't like melted yellow cheese at all.

I thought they used to have stuffed crust pizza with mozz cheese in the crust, I thought that was what you were talking about.

I remember pizza hut in school cause Tuesdays were PH day at lunch.

I remember it being awesome...in the sense most chain pizza is not. I can't explain it.

Havent had it in 15 years or more.

No reason why. There is even a pizza hut 10 minutes from here. Maybe i should go again.

i had one and it was really...

the first two bites were tasty, but everything after was just my mouth going "seriously if you keep chewing i'm just gonna throw up over everything."

I went and bought one of them a few days back as well. I liked it. Cost more than you think for the amount you get though.

I don't have a real preference for pizza joints, but when I think about it, the last two times I have visited Pizza Hut have been for specialty items (the other was grilled cheese pizza) in a 7-8 year time frame. I am a total sucker for "limited", or just weird things.
