Yeah, a little bit of background: got ahold of it many years through, lost interest but kept playing through it just to beat it as a once upon a time mega FF fan. I tried replaying it to see if I 'misunderstood' it, given the hype. I ended up figuring it was too cinematic for me.

I'm torn on whether I think these character models are rad or uncanny valley (playing HD version btw)

I like Squall and I think Cloud is the right character for his game

The game is pretty consistent about letting blitzball players spend forever underwater. Aside from that we don't ever get an actual explanation.

Wakka's team is so nice, they give you a bunch of potions and money just because you're a cool guy who can kick well

Also, Tidus's narrative moments should have been voiced by Bob Saget
