You could also just make homemade dog food, which is also suitable for consumption by humans. Ground meat, rice, oil, and mixed veggies. It's not expensive and it's pretty quick and easy to make.

Not that I'm giving you shit. It's awesome that you're feeding your dog good food. Poor fuckers usually get to enjoy the exact same garbage meal every day of their lives.

in all honesty, they offered me a free two week trial of food for free.

i fully intend to cancel as soon as i receive this box tomorrow, because $600 a month, for just two dogs, is not something i'm in to

im gonna mention again that you could always make your own dogfood. i do it for 2 large dogs and it costs about $35/month and takes maybe half an hour of my time a week.

I've been using "Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul" (2003-2012 ingredient change, 4 dogs all stopped eating it at the same time) and "Taste of the Wild" (2012 to present). TotW is $48 for 28lbs and lasts my one 10 pound mini-dach almost 200 days. I keep it fresh in old plastic coffee tubs after I open the bag. It has just as good ingredients as your $600/month brand and my dog is perfectly healthy according to her vet.

Purina, Iams, Eukanuba can all be dropped in a landfill as far as I'm concerned because that's exactly what they are, garbage. Not to mention the horrific treatment of the testing lab animals at all three. They've all been indicted and sued for it.

I've had cats last a long time on cat food. Like, a ton of cats actually. All have lived to their teens, some in the early 20s except for instances where natural causes like wild life and stuff take them short.
My only issue with sharing food is begging. The more I think about it, the more I am that way with any animal, and I mean people. Almost everyone's dog stares at you while you eat and I despise that. My cats would develop habits of begging if they were treated to it too much, but that more or less led me to sharing it around their own food so they don't think it's coming from me.

Actually kibble is far better for your dogs teeth. Soft foods cause a lot of dental problems like gum disease as it sticks to the teeth. My pup is 13 yo and has all her teeth in perfect condition.

What you described is exactly what Taste of the Wild makes.

My dogs love that meat stuff I get from the store. Like it has to be in the fridge. They go absolutely crazy for it when they see me take it out of the fridge. It's really expensive, so I usually can't get a lot. They just keep running back and forth between the kitchen and my room waiting for me to finish cutting it. I cut it into smaller pieces to help them eat it easier. I hope I can start buying more of it and other stuff they like with my new job. But honestly, the dogs seem to like anything. Especially if they see me eating it.

My cat does the hill science diet food. She can be picky about food. She use to like the soft food. But not as much now. I want to see if there is any wet food for her that she likes and will eat. I would like her to have a mix of both...

I have 2 large dogs who have been eating soft homemade food for 10 years and still have all their teeth. You want a pic? Maybe when I get home, but I dont really see the point since everyone but you seems to understand that you're talking out your ass.

Yeah. I only buy the boneless pieces kind. If they had bones, I would just pull the meat off before giving them any, but I don't like the bones either. Plus, it doesn't go with the recipe I normally use...
