I'm guessing it's as simple as Cedar Fair didn't want to shell out for the rights on those, especially since I believe they already had the Peanuts licenses locked down. Generally, you dont want to be in a theme or amusement park at capacity anyway. Especially if they have some sort of upcharge front of the line pass like cedar fair parks all have.
