I've been doing it solo and it's been alright, but hard at times. Never did try the multiplayer stuff, though. I'm curious how good it is.

I've only played Divinity 2, and it's pretty amazing, IMO.

there are a limited amount of enemy encounters, so you can't grind, and there's a lot of tactics based stuff to keep in mind: enemy & player placement, how environmental stuff can be combined to your benefit/detriment, etc.

the pre-approval made characters are also great (but you can make them look how you want)

Nice. Did you play it solo only? If you've played multiplayer, would you recommend playing solo first? How long is it?

I never played it multiplayer but imagine it would be a pain, since it's very much story driven and combat is turn based so there isn't really any advantage to multiplayer

Assuming we're talking about D:OS2...

Combat - Pretty fun, but some things would've been nice to know ahead of time. For example, positioning your characters before fighting is smart, since the enemy often gets to move when battle begins. (I had the same wake-up call when playing Wasteland 2.) Maybe this is way more obvious for people who play these types of SRPGs, haha.

Graphics - Pretty decent. Feels like an updated Baldur's Gate in some ways. No complaints.

Story - Quite enjoyable. I don't have any real complaints here either, as even when battles are hard (for whatever reason you encounter), the story is always decent. I should note I'm only at the end of Act II right now, but hopefully things stay at a similarly great level. The game's got enough accolades, so I'd assume it is.

Music - Pleasant enough, but there haven't been any standouts for me.

Games like that I hate doing multiplayer tbqh. it's one hell of a single player experience at least, and it's my GOTY when it launched.

It has multiplayer but its such a big investment Id advice against it. Definitely play through single player first. I had 75 hours of play time my first run and I dont wanna imagine how long it wouldve taken if Id played with a friend.
