I feel like after watching the documentaries on both, I can't help but realise that whilst Bill was monopolistic as a business person in the 90's (and there's plenty of Windows hate), he also seems to have spent significant effort/resources on actually helping society beyond his actual core business (although the documentaries are probably inherently biased) whereas Steve, was just a bit of an ass to everyone but managed to 'get the best' out of people.
