Barry Goodman is a character in TMS. He's also a creepy weirdo.

I mean, you don't have to take this too seriously, but here's the rundown:

Barry is an American living in Tokyo and working for Fortuna Entertainment (the studio the people in the game work for). He's a former heavy metal rocker that is now a trainer for idols. He's obsessed with anime, particularly "Dia Witch Iroha", to the point where he makes the comments comparing 2D girls to 3D girls. He also idolizes the character in the game Mamori, the 11-year-old girl.

In the end, it's all played up for laughs that he's just "weird", but it's one of those things that gets a lot creepier when you think about it.

Also, Mamori and Barry have an attack together called "The Tunnel Home", where Barry dresses up in a dog suit and pretends to be Mamori's faithful canine protector, barking, running around on all fours, and playing fetch, and he's *really* into it. >_>

He's the comedy character. Everyone's just like "Ha ha, that's Barry!" and doesn't say anything else about it.

His side story is about how he's jealous how the main male protagonist is getting more attention from Mamori because the protag's a combat character and Barry isn't anymore. It ends with Mamori reaffirming her commitment to him, essentially enabling him.

In fact it seems even worse now that I'm reminding myself of this and typing it out.

Probably porting TMS to tide everyone over until Shin Megami Tensei V. ...Whenever it comes out.

At least Xenoblade fans have Xenoblade 2 and the upcoming Xenoblade remake, though a port of Xenoblade X would be very nice.
