Before you watch, let me explain a bit of whats going on ok. From the very beginning, we've seen Nami steal gold from pirates, use the straw hats for her own gain(gold) and basically hate all pirates but she has a good reason too(like most other characters Oda creates). When she was a little girl, pirates came to her island, killed her adoptive mother, used her as a map maker(she's the best navigator)and basically took over the whole island for their own.

Then those same pirates told her if she wanted the pirates to leave this island, then she should pay them $100 million and they'd go away, so she spend YEARS stealing from pirates and saving it up until she finally got enough. She told the pirates about
finally having the money but they never intended to keep their word(obviously) and along with the marines they schemed a way to take her money without the pirates taking it and told her she'd have to find another 100 million. So after that, she told everyone in the village that it was ok, that she'll just steal some more but ends up breaking down in the middle of the street and thats when this happens

That turn and the "Luffy...help me " part was the first time One Piece made me cry lmfao. You just didn't expect that from.her, she was always so strong, independent, and never cried but she just couldn't hold it in anymore had to ask for help, probably the first time in forever tbh

And of course, luffy and company utterly DESTROY the arlong piratea(which they themselves have tragic backstory but you won't learn about that until later lol)

Dats one of my favorite things from One Piece, you'd expect lovey dovey drama crap when young people are involved but no there is none of dat crap

Most of it is funny, like sanji falling for every girl, but never ever any romance or yucky crap like dat
