Trump promoted a former CIA officer who spent nearly 2 YEARS in jail for revealing the agency's TORTURE PROGRAM on Twitter after a television apperance as the self proclaimed whistleblower is seeking Trump to PARDON him!!

John Kirakou argued on Fox News that the so called "whistle blower" at the centre of the House Impeachment inquiry must reveal himself in order to meet the "definition"

Trump saw this and shared an abridged version of the interview and he seized on the opportunity to ask for a wipe clean on his criminal record

Multiple WH Officials were unfamiliar with Kirakou and his case and the president may not have realized who he was amplifying

Kirakou is currently paid by Russian state media outlet, Sputnik which Trump did not know and he was not introduced as Sputnik radio host in the Fox News segment

Trump came across his appearance on Tucker Carlson's program and tagged Carlson in his tweet promoting his position on the Ukraine whistle blower scandal

Trump has been prompting the theory that the whistleblower is a Democrat who "tattled" in an attempt to lower his reelection odds and to have him impeached as many Republican allies have called the whistleblower a RAT.

Kiriakou sided with Trump and claims he isn't a whistleblower but an anonymous source for the Democratic Staff and says this person can't hide his name or identity just to save face and must be identified publicly in an open session to "blow the whistle".

Although the question of a pardon never popped up in the interview, he has been asking one from Trump for more than a year
