Jennifer Salfen-Tracy from Missouri shared horrifying pics of her "once handsome son" named Cody Bishop and showed the world how HEROIN and METH has ruined her son's appearance whom she hasn't seen in MONTHS!!!

She posted before and after pics taken just 7 MONTHS apart as before pics shows an athletic and fresh faced Cody but in the second image it shows a more gaunt and emacicated appearance.

The 26 y/o was a high school sports star and is almost unrecognizable in the second picture as his mother described him as the "face of heroin and meth" in her viral post

She said she hasn't seen her son in weeks and believes he is in a deep spiral of addiction who is probably HOMELESS on the streets in VEGAS!!

She wanted to share her story because many people in her community have been asking how her son has been doing and she decided to share the pics to show the reality of drugs and how families are facing these realities today with their kids.

Bishop was an athlete who graduated at Wentzville HoltHigh School in 2011 as his FB states he started a a job at All Inclusive Concrete Systems in March

But the mom believes he's homeless now and hasn't heard from him in weeks as a missing persons page said Bishop had been reported missing by Vegas Police after his family reported concerns

Cody is also a father as she finds it difficult how a father who has children could do this to his family.

She now says "I have turned it over to God and pray that he decides he is tired of living like this and wants to come home to get help. Through social media i have came along so many great people that have crossed his path over time through his past rehab"

She said she was hesitant in sharing this but said she isn't alone from dealing with drug addicted family members and said they need to fix this rather than government worrying about and spending all their money on throwing each other under the bus.

She finished it off by writing "Cody, if you see this, please call us, we love you"

But at the same time, Jennifer is not about to run off to Vegas to look for her son as she says he is responsible for his own life and has to admit his drug addiction and that he truly wants to change..

Do you think its shameful that Jennifer is not out there looking for her son if she truly believes he's homeless and missing?

Yea but people can brew meth in a trailer out back. They don't do that with opioids as far as I am aware. My understanding is meth is a thing people do because it's cheap, but I am far from an expert here. Just some... 3rd or 4th hand information from living in an area with a lot of meth heads.

Sure. But if youd not use it you dont get addicted. Being predisposed to addiction doesnt make you an addict. Trying shit everyone tells you is bad has to happen first. Some lapse in judgment or whatever kicks it off. Duh.

Junkie who never used anything but we just decided to label him that is what that sounds like. Dont use, dont lose. My point is if he had a good home, a job, etc. Everything on the outside seems okay. Hed have to be an idiot to get mixed up with that stuff. Or have undiagnosed mental problems and really shitty losers for friends that tried to help him in a very wrong way.

I can see cigarettes or alcohol, because theyre legal and considered mild, but meth and heroin?! The dangers are well known. It makes no sense. Stay away from those circles. The people in them warn you with their sketchy AF appearances.

Why'd the lady apologize at the beginning of her wall of text?
Why do so many people excuse themselves before hand instead of being an adult and correcting it?
Apologizing constantly makes you look weak and self centered. It's like when people used to complain about their picture before selfies became huge; you sound like a camera couldn't do your "beauty" justice.
