Haven't even used it in the two months I've owned the house, and the last house had one that I didn't even know existed for like two years and I never had problems with it, so should I be worried

Is it an underground system?
And is it going to be a hard freeze, or just a frost?

Also, I don't know how underground systems are winterized, besides being buried a bit deep.

I'm assuming, it is sorta built into the system. But probably not.
Do your best to get as much water out as possible.
But if it's just a frost, you shouldn't worry too much.
If anything it gives you a chance to figure out what you need to do.
