Yes. My aunt gave me her set. But they're screwed up.The first book, has the correct binding, but the inside is the second book. The other two are normal.

I own them as one big, single volume, which I read between the second and third movies. I liked them, but at the same time haven't been compelled to re-read them, either.

I got the Fellowship of the Ring, following the release of the movies and dove in expecting an amazing, exciting story. What I got was The Fellowship of the Ring. Peter Jackson lied to me. Moby Dick was another one that I didnt really care for because it was loaded with unnecessary fluff. I felt like I was reading a whaling encyclopedia.
